Just to Brag

Just a quickie to brag on Alanna. She went from on her tummy to sitting up right in front of us this evening! Yeah!! We all clapped and she just smiled like we were crazy! She also pulled up in her crib to a standing position. HELP ME!!!! ( Guess its time to lower the mattress in her crib--a good job for daddy)!

Another Friday!

Well... its another Friday and we have another big weekend planned. We are off to some friends house tonight to eat and just get together and then tomorrow we are taking Alanna to a pumpkin patch. I want to get a picture of her in and around a bunch of pumpkins. They have alot of activities where we are going so it should be fun!

Apple Pumpkin Festival

A couple weeks ago we went with some friends to an Apple Pumpkin Festival. It was Alanna's first and it was chilly that day so she had to be bundled up but she seemed content. We walked around all day looking at stuff and she sat perfect in her stroller taking in all the new things. Mommy posed for a picture too. The hat, included in the other picture, was from a friend of the family. We were at Cabela's shopping when she saw the hat and fell in love with it we tried it on and she bought it for Alanna. Isn't it adorable!!! I know I know another hat. Alanna is getting use to hats and Mommy likes it!!

Friday--Yippee!!

Its finally Friday and I love that day. Its the day I look forward to all week. It means I have two whole days to spend with my daughter and relax. Its also payday! We have a big weekend or kinda big weekend planned. We are moving my father-in-law into his/our new house or at least getting stuff that is packed away put into the garage. Then we have to take my nephews senior pictures!! A senior--I am getting so old. He is going into the military next year and will probably get stationed, after boot camp, somewhere across the world. He has sure grown up fast and is a nice young man.
Alanna has another tooth coming in. She has been very good getting her new teeth. She hasn't been fussy yet--hopefully it will stay that way. You can't eat around her without her wanting what your having. She had her first biter biscuit the other night so her daddy and I could eat-- WHAT A MESS!! But boy did she enjoy it! I got a little nervous when she sucked on it enough that it broke in two. I took it away then and made some crumbs with it and she enjoyed it that way too. Shes such a joy!! This is the age that I like the best when they start doing all the cute things.

Autumn!

Autumn isn't one of my favorite seasons. I love the changing of the trees and the cooler evenings but it always means that soon the snow will be flying and the holidays will be upon us very quickly. I love the holidays but the hussle and bustle of getting to those dates are not something that I enjoy! I can remember as a kid that it seemed like Christmas would never get here and now it comes so quickly! This will be our "first" holiday season with our little Alanna and our "first" holiday season without my dear mother-in-law. My mother-in-law loved the fall and all that it brought and the Christmas season. She will be dearly missed, this year. Alanna is mobile now she is crawling all over. Not just creepy crawling CRAWLING!! She's such a big girl. She has a Dr. appointment on Halloween (that ought to be fun)! Then a full night planned of showing her off in her little outfit! You will all have to wait to find out what she's going to be. I will be sure to post them though.
This little picture was taken while Alanna was enjoying an evening with her mommy and daddy in a hotel room. She decided to wave. No not really she just had her hand up. Well I need to go for now and do some mommy things!

Hats, Hats, Hats!!!!
My mommy loves to put me in hats and here is one she just loved. My eyes are a beautiful blue!
You will see lots of hats on this blog. So far I keep them on for mommy but one day when she least expects it, I am going to take those things off and that will be it!
I am a pretty easy going baby and anything goes right now. I enjoy my cereal and my veggies right now but things I really don't care for are peas and peaches! They make my face turn all shades of red and as soon as the spoon leaves my mouth so does my food!! Yuck! I like squash though. But mommy says that I better enjoy while its available in baby food because I won't be eating it when I get older she doesn't do squash!

Finally here!!

Well here I finally am. An offical blogger. How fun!!
For you folks who have been after me to do this here it is and this will be a way of showing you my little darlin! I will try my very best to keep this updated.
We have some exciting news. We will be moving again soon. We are getting a bank repo house. There is alot of work to b e done but we hope to be in it by Christmas.
