Look out here I come

Alanna took 3 steps towards Daddy or "Dada" as she would say last night. We all clapped for her as she accomplished her new trick and she sat down and looked at both of us and joined in on the clapping with a HUGE grin!! It was priceless. She didn't try anymore steps after that but it won't be long now that the chasing will begin.
She started waving bye bye also this week. She waves bye bye to her diaper as it is removed. Bye bye to her clothes as I change her into other clothes. But when we want to show it to someone else she doesn't do it.

We are working on our new home some and still are planning on sometime late spring to be in. I am so looking forward to moving in it. We are so cramped here and it will be a nice change. A bigger change is always nice. I am looking forward to Alanna having her very own bedroom with all the pretties. We took out one wall this past week in our master bath and are getting ready to take the garden tub out. I am not a tub person and would rather have a closet for my clothes in its place. People think I am crazy for not having a huge tub to take a bath in. I can't even remember the last time I took a bath. Showers are my thing. Get in do your business and get out. I don't have time for a long hot bath and besides that there is just something about sitting in your own dirt that just doesn't appeal to me at all. NOT A FAN!
We have switched to Saturdays for our weigh in days. And I haven't weighed yet this week I will update that later today as an addition. But as a side note don't be surprised for a gain I haven't done very good I have been weak this week. Just not my thing for the past 2 weeks. I have just had some hard long days and just haven't felt much like dieting. I have to get back on track and stay focused.

No news to report

Hubby and I had a bad week so we decided not to weigh in today! Sorry for all those who are watching our weight totals. I and the baby have been sick and have not felt up to cooking like I usually do so we decided mid week it wasn't worth trying for at least not this week.
Alanna went to the dr. today for her well baby check up and she weighed in at 21 lbs. and 29 1/2 inches long. She's growing like a little weed. Everything checked out good and development is great. YIPPEE!! She's so darn cute. She really likes her dr. and he pays extra attention to her. We really like him. (He is also our dr.)
Update on our doggie, she had to go in again yesterday for another surgery she got a hernia from the 1st surgery. She's doing good and hopefully on the road to recovery.
We will let you know how next week goes with an update on the weight again. Hopefully, we will all have a better week.
