We finally did it!
We finally did it its official we are for sure parents of a little person! We found ourselves in line at the nearest Chuck E Cheese's. We have jumped full blown into parenthood. Its something we NEVER ever thought we would do. And it wasn't even for a special occasion. Just because. Alanna loved it! Daddy took her to all the ride on toys and she rode and rode. We still have some tokens left as she isn't isn't into the games yet! So we decided to take the extra and go back sometime for her to enjoy again! The only complaint Daddy had was the older kids running in the resturant and play area and not watching the little people! A approriate complaint! She liked Chuck E Cheese coming out and dancing with the kids and the videos playing on all the screens. We had a good family time together.
Going on a mini-vacation
We are going camping for the weekend, and into next week. So I won't be blogging again until I return. We are just going somewhere around here. Just to get away. Hubby is still going to work on the house while we are camping. No rest for him!! I WANT to be in by Thanksgiving~~we'll see.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY HONEY!
9 years ago today I was getting ready to marry my best friend. Our ceremony was at 1:00pm and I think at this time I was SO ready to get into my dress just to wear it! I was so excited! We had planned our event for a very long time and the day went by so fast! We have been through lot together and I am sure more to come. We have moved 5 times and getting ready to make that 6. We have 1 little person to add to our household and hopefully at least one more sometime in the future~~~not too far into the future as we are getting too old. If given the opportunity I would do it all over AGAIN. I would only change one thing and that is not wait as long to get married. I love you so much! You mean so much to me words cannot describe! I know we have been through alot lately that has really pushed us both to our limits. I feel as though its only to make us stronger with each other. I LOVE YOU HONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Homecoming Weekend!
My schools homecoming was this past weekend. I didn't go but my nephew goes to school there so I can keep up somewhat with all the stuff going on. He is a senior this year and wishes he could remain a senior. He loves it! So did I. What a long time ago. I would change only a couple of things in my senior year. But for the most part it was a year to remember. It seems so long ago now. I am SO getting old. They have alot of new rules there now and ones that we would have loved then and now its like old school to the kids. Like the dress code is so much more relaxed and we would have given anything for the dress code they have now. We would push the skirt heights to the limits. Some girls even rolled up there skirts from the waist just to see how far they could get. And now they get to wear pretty much anything! Wearing pants to school was SO out of the question and now they can. The point is time does change things. We were so in the 80's fashion then Big hair and all! What fun~~~Some day maybe I will get up enough nerve to show up at homecoming-- yeah right--only when I am knock out gorgeous and about a size 5! That will never happen so Homecoming will only be something I hear about through the grape vine.
