The sink is getting too small

The kitchen sink, where I do the dishes has also been the place the last 9 months that I have been giving my daughter her baths. Of course, its been cleaned before she is given the bath and after the bath is over. Its a family tradition passed on from my mother. As long as I can remember she has bathed the little ones in the sink--its so much easier. As I was giving Alanna her bath this morning before church, I decided that she is about too big for the sink anymore. I am not looking forward to the bathtub. I can only imagine the mess she will make in a bigger area. She still fits in the sink but she looks at me as though I were crazy. It sure is convenient though to have her in there. And its another thing I have to give up because shes growing up! Maybe a little longer in the sink will do. She has loved bath time since her very first bath given to her by her dear Grandmother Milam.
And now she gets bathed every day at her other dear Grandma Zarings house (in the sink of course).
We went to church today and I found out that a dear lady, who has been attending our church since I was a baby and before that had passed away. She was in pain and was ready to go but for those of us left behind its sad to see her go and not be in her pew anymore. She was in the baby nursery when I was an infant. Her husband passed away several years ago and I believe he was waiting patiently for her entrance into the pearly gates. We pray now for her family she loved dearly and left behind to grieve. Soon we will meet again!
