Tried the tub back to the sink!

Well... we tried the tub today. Alanna liked it until I scared her with the attachment to wash her hair and then that was all she wrote. I think I will go back to the sink at least for a little while longer. She really loved playing in the big space and splashing. But I turned on our shower head that is detachable and she couldn't figure out where the water from above was coming from. She looked so pitiful. She never cried but she keep making this whining noise. I felt so bad. I also turned on the cold first which when it started coming out obviously it was freezing to her and then she started crawling up me as I was trying to turn on the hot to warm it up again. Then she started shivering. You really had to be there poor thing. I quickly got her all done and took her out to cuddle and love her. She gave me her big "Greg" grin. I guess she still loves me anyway.
She got a blueberry waffle after all that. And she was pleased.

My little one turns 1 on Wednesday. I can't believe a whole year has passed since her birth. It seems only weeks since she was laid by my cheek for me to look at her quickly after birth before they whisked her away to do all their checks on her. I can't even begin to describe the feeling of that warm little face pressed up against mine and how I felt that very moment. Its a feeling like no other knowing that she was all mine to care for for a very long time. She has brought me so much joy in my heart. Mommy loves you Alanna so much!!!
