Posting pictures soon

I will be posting pictures soon of the events of Alanna'a birthday party we had. I made her birthday cake, a number 1 decorated with pink frosting and purple trim around it and then some candies to make it look special. She had no clue but I had a load of fun doing it! I have a friend who makes all her kids cakes and although she is a bit more talented than I, I was certain I could handle a number 1. Just call me "Suzy homemaker" (just kidding of course)! She got loads of toys and some very cute clothes. She had a lot of fun!! And so did we! Here is a picture of her riding in the car. Since she was born we have taken her everywhere with us. She likes to go and I am glad. She loves to listen to music in the car and we play a variety. She moves her head like "Mamma" to the music. She can sometimes be distracting -I watch her from the rear view mirror. She's so funny when she hears a song she likes! "Baby Girl" by Sugarland is one of her favorites!
