Mommy got a new doo!

Well.... I waited my whole life to have my hair one length. I grew it down past the middle of my back, and then it all ended in less than 15 minutes sitting in the hair ladies chair. Yep, I did it. I got so tired of the mess. I cut it all off. I had her layer it and everything. I showed her where I wanted it cut to, and snip snip she went. What a weird feeling! I am happy with it. It is a bit shorter than I had hoped but the perm drew it up some too. SO when it relaxes it will be a little longer.

Again, I came home and Alanna came to me but she looked at me like I was her momma but not really her momma. She kept taking my chin and moving it away from her so she could see the back of my head. She would look and me and then act shy with me. I kept saying, " I am still your momma. I love you!" Then she would look at my forhead and touch my hair real lite. She wanted me to hold her for the longest time. And at this stage in her life that isn't normal. She was so cute!! It amazes me that she even noticed. But all she's ever known was really long hair on me.

I have another prayer request: Please pray for a dear friend of mine from Texas. We have known each other since high school. She's my best friend. We email and talk on the phone and she is having some tests done that are pretty serious and she needs prayer. I will keep you posted on all the people in my life that I have mentioned prayer for.
